RIT is located in suburban Rochester on a safe residential campus and is just a mile from malls, movie theaters, and too many restaurants to count! RIT also hosts major campus events every academic quarter. Just this fall, David Spade and Kanye West performed at RIT and this spring we are welcoming Ludacris! Currently there are 158 active clubs at RIT, 10 major student organizations, 26 Greek organizations, and a Student Volunteer Office. If you�re looking for music and performing arts groups, RIT hosts various music, dance, and theatre groups. There are also many active women�s groups on campus including: - Women's Alumni Network - Association for Women in Computing - Women's Center - Women in IT Education - Women's Film Project - Society of Women Engineers - Women in Engineering - Women's Council of RIT
The Women�s Center sponsors the Women's Mentoring Program (WMP) at RIT. This program was established to help ease the transition between high school and college. The WMP is designed to link entering women with an upper class woman in order to become better acquainted with Rochester Institute of Technology.
