For eight decades, intercollegiate athletics has developed a tradition of excellence at RIT, offering 24 men's and women’s varsity sports. An extensive program of intramural activities and club sports are also offered at RIT, as well as wide variety of wellness and fitness courses, from Yoga and Pilates to Power Cycling, all happening in some of the finest recreational facilities available in colleges today.

Description :
Perez, the Rookie of the Meet in the 2005 Empire 8 Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Championships, won two individual events and ran on a winning relay at the University of Rochester Invitational. She won the 55-meter dash handily and captured the 55-meter hurdles despite stumbling badly at the start. Perez also anchored the winning 800-meter relay.
