In October, 2017, the Office of the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs announced the launch of the new Office of Faculty Affairs to coordinate university-wide practices, policies and processes associated with faculty work at RIT. The Office will be a branch of the Office of the Provost, within the Division of Academic Affairs, and will be administered by the associate provost for faculty affairs.
A search firm has been working closely with a search committee, led by Dr. Dan Ornt, Dean of the College of Health Sciences and Technology and Vice President of the Institute for Health Sciences and Technology to find the best candidate.
