The Center for Multidisciplinary Studies offers an Associate of Applied Science in Applied Arts and Science. The Applied Arts and Science degree is fully customizable to meet the needs of every student and can be completed on campus, online, or both. In addition to the Applied Arts and Science degree, we offer an AAS in Human Resources Administration and Business Administration. The Applied Arts and Science degree is fully customizable to meet the needs of every student and can be completed on campus, online, or both.
The degree requires completion of at least 90 quarter credit hours (this is equivalent to a 60 semester-based AAS degree). The 90 quarter credit hours area made up of 52 credit hours in general education along with 38 credit hours in one to two areas of professional concentrations. Each concentration is customized by the student and their academic advisor. A professional concentration is at least 20 credit hours and can be designed from most programs on campus. (BFA program courses cannot make up a full professional concentration.) Students must achieve a program GPA of at least 2.0 and a professional concentration(s) GPA of at least a 2.0 in order to be certified.
