The Professional Studies Program offered me the opportunity to customize my experience based on my professional needs. Finishing the program with expertise in two concentrations has made me more valuable in the workplace. As the demand for cross-trained employees rises, I feel I am better suited to be successful.

Classes are strategically selected and structured for the student to gain knowledge in specific areas of each concentration and the capstone project ties the courses of study with a real-life solution to trending issues. As the co-creator and co-manager of the Better Me Wellness Program at RIT, I was able to directly use the knowledge gained in my coursework to help me research and provide solutions to areas of concern in our program on campus.

Being able to use a multidisciplinary approach to problem solving has been invaluable. I would encourage prospective students to take a hard look at the Professional Studies Program. In my opinion, this program prepares students to be successful and happy in the workforce.
