COACHE SURVEY

COACHE is a research initiative that gathers benchmarking data on best practices for faculty recruitment and retention. In fall 2012, RIT participated the COACHE survey and we will repeat the process in 2015-2016. Visit the COACHE website to learn more, including results from the 2012 survey.

New Faculty Orientation

New Faculty Orientation

New Faculty Orientation (NFO) is focused on three key success factors for new faculty: introduction to critical information; socialization with their cohort and RIT culture; and network building within and across colleges and disciplines.  NFO is held annually in August. View the NFO website for more information including resources and connections on where to find support at RIT.

The FCDS team also coordinates orientation for RIT adjunct faculty, held in January and August of each academic year. New and returning adjunct faculty are welcome at these sessions providing critical information, resources, and where to find support at RIT. View our Adjunct Orientation materials for more information.
