Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program*

The Gilman Scholarship Program offers awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two- year or four-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide.

Boren Scholarships provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to add an important international and language component to their educations. We focus on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study that are critical to U.S. national security, broadly defined, and underrepresented in study abroad.

Phi Kappa Phi Scholarship

Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grants are designed to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. Forty-five $1,000 grants are awarded each year.

SR Education Group

Instead of choosing applicants based on the usual measures of success -- GPA, SAT scores, community involvement, etc -- our scholarship rewards students for their natural creativity and analytical thinking. RIT Scholarships for Study Abroad at Global Campuses

The Constellation Brands Scholarship Fund is intended to provide financial support to RIT students choosing to study abroad at any one of the RIT global campuses. Preference will be given to students enrolled in one of RIT's hospitality programs. Students applying for Constellation Brands Scholarship funds will be reviewed based on merit. Each student's application to the study abroad or research abroad at an RIT global campus will be reviewed along with the student's RIT academic record. Each student will be reviewed by the School of International Hospitality & Services Innovation Scholarship Committee. Students will receive notifiation concerning awarded scholarship no later than three weeks after s/he has received the program acceptance notice.

Freeman Awards for Study in Asia (Freeman-ASIA) provides scholarships for U.S. undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia.

(Japan) Bridging Scholarships for Study in Japan

The Association of Teachers of Japanese Bridging Project offers scholarships to American undergraduate students participating in study-abroad programs in Japan. Funding from private foundations and major U.S. corporations has made it possible for ATJ to award 60- 100 scholarships annually to assist students with the travel and living expenses they will incur while studying abroad in Japan for a semester or an academic year. Undergraduate students majoring in any field of study are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Japanese language study is not a prerequisite.

1 Year Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship

The purpose of the Ambassadorial Scholarships program is to further international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries and geographical areas. The program sponsors academic year scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students as well as for qualified professionals pursuing vocational studies. While abroad, scholars serve as goodwill ambassadors to the host country and give presentations about their homelands to Rotary clubs and other groups.
