Dr. Ryne Raffaelle is a Professor of Physics, Microsystems Engineering and Sustainability and the Vice President for Research and Associate Provost of Rochester Institute of Technology. Prior to his current position he served as the Director of the National Center for Photovoltaics at the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL). Dr. Raffaelle is currently the Managing Editor of Progress and has served as a visiting researcher at Oak Ridge National Lab and the NASA Glenn Research Center. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. in Physics at Southern Illinois University and his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Missouri.
