Please read these instructions carefully. Our process for application has changed.
This year applicants for oral presentations will be chosen by a jury of RIT faculty. Students who are not chosen for that category may present in the poster session. We have very limited space. No applications will be taken after the deadline.
You may register as a individual student or as a student/faculty team. Each individual or team has 10 minutes to present and 5 minutes for questions and answers.
Once you have filled out the form below you will be given instructions on how to upload your abstract, essay and faculty recommendation on mycourses. All materials must be recieved by the deadline in order to be considered.
DEADLINE for application for Oral Presentations is January 27th. Those who are chosen will be notified by February 3rd and given further instructions.
If you are going to present a poster and are NOT applying for an oral presentation you will only need to fill the form below out.
DEADLINE to sign up for a poster presentation is February 3rd.
Instructions for the day of the Symposium and showcase for both catagories will be sent out on February 8th.

8:30 – 9:15 – Check in, Breakfast and welcome
9:15 – 10:00 – Faculty and Student Presentations
10:15- 11:30 – Oral Presentations
11:30 – 1:00 - Lunch, PhD 3 minute winner presentation and Keynote speaker
1:00 – 2:15 - Poster Presentations – All graduate students
2:30 – 3:00 - 3 Minute Master's Presentation Competition Finals
3:00 - 3:30 - Question and Answer Session with Special Guest Peter Hirtle
3:30 - Winners of competition announced and closing
