Graduate Student Research and Creativity Grants

WHAT IT IS

  • Up to $500
  • Receipts must be provided before reimbursement is given

WHAT IS COVERED

  • Materials for an art exhibit or scientific procedure
  • Travel to a conference, especially where the student is the primary author
  • Creative and innovative business ventures

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

  • Conference attendance when you are not presenting

WHEN TO APPLY

  • An email will be sent to all graduate students once per semester requesting submissions

WHAT TO SUBMIT

  • Breakdown of expenses
  • Faculty letter of recommendation sent by the faculty member to the Office of Graduate Studies
  • One page explaining the project to the interdisciplinary selection committee

HOW TO APPLY

  • Email required materials to the address indicated in the announcement email

WHEN TO EXPECT FEEDBACK REGARDING THE COMMITTEE'S DECISION

  • Up to one month following the submission deadline
