VI. Computing Services

The primary computing resource at RIT is the Information and Technology Services (ITS). ITS monitors and supports all information systems on campus. The ITS Help Desk is located in Bldg. 7. Phone: (585) 475-HELP; (585) 475-2810 (tty). ITS also staffs Resnet in Nathaniel Rochester Hall. Familiarize yourself with what resources and services are available to you at the ITS website.

ITS registers all computers and computer accounts on campus. In order to register to use the ITS system, you may login to the website or go to the Helpdesk. ITS also supports students who do not own computers by providing computer labs on the academic and residential sides of campus. Instructional sessions are also available on various applications through The Wallace Center.

In addition to ITS, you will have specialized computing resources at your disposal, depending on the program in which you are matriculated. For more information, talk with your program coordinator or support staff.
