V. Research Services
In addition to traditional library services, such as books, media, databases, and interlibrary loan, the RIT Libraries offers a wide range of special services that address the needs of graduate students. Librarians with expertise in targeted academic areas are available to work with you on your subject matter. Guidance is also available for you when working on your thesis and/or dissertation as well as ongoing research projects and sponsored research.
If you plan to engage in sponsored research, you will want to check out Sponsored Research Services. The website provides information on how to search for funding from federal and state, as well as private, sources. It also offers assistance in proposal writing to access that funding. As with the Wallace Center, content specialists are available to assist you in proposal writing and in securing funds from public and private sources. Central offices are at the University Services Center (Bldg. 87; phone (585) 475-5983), but the content specialists are located across campus. Go to the Web page to check for your contact person.
