VII. Student Organizations

The Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies invites representation from each of the graduate colleges to consult with the office on RIT services and policies as they relate to graduate students. Representatives to the Graduate Student Advisory Committee are selected by the colleges. If you are interested in serving, contact the current representative from your college. Representatives are listed in the contacts section of our website.

You will also want to check with your advisers and program coordinators to see what professional clubs and organizations may be available in your content area. The Student Government has recently added a senate seat for a graduate student representative.

There are, in addition, over 250 clubs and organizations in which you might want to participate. The focus may be professional, recreational, service, or cultural. The Campus Life website lists all clubs and organizations on campus.
