For over nine years Iglesia Educations Centers have provided tutoring and emotional services to students (over 10,000 s0 far) in the Rochester City School district. Specialized and accomplished in tutoring and test preparation, Iglesia Educational Centers are well equipped to assist students in the following areas:

Integrated math
Elementary math
Calculus
Math A and B
ELA
SAT, PSAT and ACT exams
English & Spanish
Hard sciences

Their success rates include 92% pass rate for Regents exams with 83% passing with a grade of ‘C’ or better. 87% of enrolled 8th graders have met or exceeded NYS Math standards; 85% of enrolled 8th graders have met the NYS ELA standards. SAT prep program students have demonstrated an average 110 point increase in scores, with some students improving over 300 points.

Providing two, 90 minute sessions per week, students are able to spend time with teachers and tutors in a small class-room setting (the student to teacher ration never exceeds 4 to 1). And Iglesia Educations Centers are open year-round, including summer months and weekends. Hours of operation during the school-year are delivered after school from 3-7 P.M.. On Saturdays, services are provided from 10 am-2 p.m. and on Sundays from 12-4 p.m.).

Transportation is also provided for those students unable to find a means of getting to the center.

All parents and teachers of students receiving tutoring support from Iglesia Educational Services will be informed regularly (every ten weeks or so) of student progress through meetings and progress reports. For students participating in the RIT GEAR UP program, Iglesia Education tutoring is provided and all students who participate will see vast improvements in their grades, test scores, and college admissions opportunities.
