Assoc. Prof. Callie Babbitt presented results of her research project at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018

Dr. Callie Babbitt, associate professor in the Golisano Institute for Sustainability, presented the results of her research project “Sustainable Materials Management for the Consumer Technology Product Ecosystem” during Sustainability Day at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 (CES) in Las Vegas in January. She presented along with Walter Alcorn, VP of Environmental Affairs and Industry Sustainability at the ‎Consumer Technology Association, and Jake Swenson, Director of Sustainability at Staples. This research is part of an ongoing collaboration with both of these organizations.

Professor Babbitt was also featured in an NPR program about CES, specifically talking about the sustainability of products on display at the event.
