Overview

In order to establish a consistent and strong assessment foundation campus-wide, each program was required to complete a program outcomes assessment plan. RIT academic programs used a common template to develop the program outcomes assessment plan, which was developed collaboratively by the Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee.

As we continue to move forward with respect to our outcomes assessment processes and systematic practices, we are able to focus on strengthening the support for assessment.

This site provides resources for programs to foster a more cohesive and natural connection between curriculum, instruction, and assessment. In addition, our emphasis is on supporting programs to implement assessment plans and analyze and use the results for program improvement.
