In 2011, with funding from the Teagle Foundation, AGB launched a two-year project to develop a set of tools and resources for college and university boards to work more effectively with campus leaders and faculty on monitoring the assessment and improvement of student learning and academic quality. RIT was one of eight campuses invited to participate. Click here for an overview of the project that highlights RIT's work related to Board oversight of student learning and academic quality.
The January/February issue of Trusteeship Magazine offers readers a series of stories: Inside the Schoolhouse: What Boards Can Do to Improve Student Learning. RIT's assessment initiatives are highlighted in Lessons Learned About Student Learning: Eight Test Cases.
