RIT Workshops/Resources
RIT envisioned a plan where students satisfied specified learning incomes in an outcomes-based, integrated, new General Education Framework. TaskStream's Assessment Management System enabled RIT to introduce an enterprise-wide solution that would support meaningful, manageable, and sustainable assessment. The Director of Student Learning Outcomes Assessment and Assessment Management System Coordinator provide an overview of RIT General Education assessment and the design and implementation of the assessment management system.
This 90 minute session offered by the Student Learning Outcomes Assessment (SLOA) Office offers an overview of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) at RIT and will review key elements of the IE Map. This interactive session will examine Unit goals and outcomes (new or existing) for the Academic Affairs' Living Learning Communities and will serve as a basis for outlining outcomes with data sources and measures. Participants will begin to develop an IE Map designed to assess student outcomes for each of RIT's 2011-2012 Living Learning Communities.
