adaptation and implementation

Application Process

Eligibility
Each proposal must come from a group of three or more full-time teaching faculty.

Funding
Funds can be used to cover released time*, pay student workers, and/or purchase supplies and services (such as CD pressing, video production, digitizing, photography). Funds will generally not be available for activities consistent with normal college business, capital equipment purchase or travel - though the latter will be considered if a clear connection to the project can be demonstrated.
*College guidelines for adjunct teaching pay schedules should be used when calculating released time amounts.

The Process
To submit a proposal, click on "Application Form"; this will take you to Clipboard; enter your RIT login and password. When you have finished the application, click "Submit"; you will receive a message that your entry was sent, and you will be returned to the PLIG web site after a few seconds. By February 11, 2011 Susan DeWoody, Program Coordinator, will inform you of the review committee's decision. If you are selected to submit a full proposal, she will send the guidelines (including the matching funds signature page for the Department Head and College Dean) to you. See the awards section for models of past funded proposals.
