This program invites proposals that intend to develop a "proof of concept" or experimental teaching and learning project. Projects can focus on any and all aspects of improving student learning - from developing new models for pacing and sequencing courses, to creating innovative tutorials and simulations, to designing novel “blends” of asynchronous and synchronous interaction, to building new types of collaborative learning environments. Projects can be inside or outside of a course context, and can potentially impact an entire curriculum. This program specifically seeks projects that are unproven at RIT in the context in which they are proposed.
The outcomes expected of projects funded in this Proof of Concept Program include:
IMPORTANT: Please articulate how your project will be different from normal work expectations. If you have any questions, please contact any member of the Provost's Learning Innovations Grant Committee who will be reviewing your proposal.
