Since 2007 SportsZone has produced live televised sports events for the RIT community. Under the SZLive heading, SportsZone staff, students and freelancers have produced over 120 live broadcasted shows over the past 4 years.
Mark Fragale heads up this division of SZ and the program has won numerous awards including 2 College Sports Video Awards for best live college television sports production. Broadcasted on Time Warner Cable systems across New York State, SZLive productions have the availability to reach over one million viewers in the North East.
The award winning student-run organization, led by director Kevin Roche, produces a bi-weekly television program featuring stories on student-athletes, coaches, clubs and events at RIT.
SportsZone, which debuted in 2002, is a collaboration between ESPN, Time Warner Cable, and RIT. The program, now in its ninth season, airs locally in High Definition on Time Warner Cable Sports Network and ESPN 2.

RIT SportsZone is located on the A-Level (A-601) of The Wallace Center.
