Academic Transcripts

Transcript Service

RIT maintains a single academic transcript reflecting all courses taken while an RIT student. There is no charge for transcripts.

For your protection, no requests can be taken over the phone as the student's signature is required for the release of the record. RIT does not provide copies of other institutions' transcripts. Transcripts from high schools or other colleges cannot be duplicated; you must contact them directly for transcripts.

Transcripts can be requested in person, by mail, by fax, or by email. You may pick up two transcripts in-person at our office while you wait; for other requests, please allow 5-7 business days for processing.

Please include your name (while attending RIT), signature, university ID number, date of birth, and dates of attendance. If you would like it mailed, please also fill out the address section.

To obtain a digital copy of the form to fill out, please go to our forms page, where you will find a link for the Academic Transcript Request Form.
