The Office of the Registrar produces personalized identification cards using a computerized, digital photo image system. Students can use ID cards to check out books and other materials from the library, access the athletic facilities in the Student Life Center, and are required for all student meal plans and debit accounts. The cards are activated within the RIT computer system each quarter once you have registered for courses.

Students may come to the Office of the Registrar after they have registered for classes to obtain their ID card.

This card is accepted throughout the campus. For example:

• Brick City Cafe
• Grace Watson Dining Hall
• The Corner Store
• The Ritz
• Library
• Campus Vending Machines

There is also a complete list of locations (including off-campus businesses that accept Tiger Bucks).

RIT ID cards are also available for alumni.  This will grant access to Wallace Memorial Library, Gordon Field House, and Hale-Andrews Student Life Center.
