The Compass
The Study Abroad Staff is excited to announce a new student database system. All students can now search for programs and complete required the RIT application online. Please register and begin by filling out both your personal and academic profile. From there you may view programs and begin applying if you know the program you wish to attend. Please note that this system is new and we are counting on your feedback to help us fix any bugs and make the necessary improvements. If something is confusing or does not seem to work properly, please contact Roseanne at rmdrap@rit.edu.

Step-by-Step Compass Instructions
- Click the "Enter the Compass Here" link above.
- Log in using your RIT username and password.
- Fill out and save your personal profile.
- You can then search programs by clicking the "Search Programs" button.
- Search by destination/field-of-study/language-of-instruction/etc.
- Do not filter by too many fields as it will limit the number of options that show up.
- Check out the programs that fit your criteria.
- Complete the RIT study abroad online application (via the "Apply" button).
- Complete the process by contacting the Study Abroad & Fellowships Office at (585) 475-4466 to make an appointment.
- Search by destination/field-of-study/language-of-instruction/etc.
