Teaching Resources & Strategies
Students are changing; they are coming to class with different abilities, expectations and habits than the students of just a few years ago. In addition, more adult students, with different needs and expectations, are attending classes on-campus and online.
The learning environment at RIT is also changing; increasing numbers of courses are being offered online, and, as part of the semester conversion, all programs must incorporate RIT’s Essential Program Outcomes.
Whether you are a new or experienced instructor, the resources here can provide you with insights and strategies to get started designing or redesigning your course for a new format, to connect with a changing student population, or to enrich and add new energy to your class.
