In attendance: T. Policano, J. Aumer, J. Naud, J. Worman, V. Serravallo

I. Proposed Changed in Benefits

The Chapter will announce to faculty that it is invited to contact Vivian Gifford if anyone wishes to participate on a faculty committee to formulate language regarding the conditions of loss of retirement status.

II. NTID Signing Proposal

The decision reached regarding the proposal to require ASL usage at all times in LBJ has been made and is available on the Chapter website.

III. CLA Dean Searches

The provost, by e-mail, announced to the College of Liberal Arts that 1) he will announce the interim dean in the spring of 2007 and 2) there will be a liason committee that will, in part, resolve all political issues and decide the size and partial composition of the search committee for a permanent dean. The composition of the liason committee is:

• 5 CLA faculty members
• 2 CLA staff members
• 1 degree program chair
• 1 non-degree program department chair
• 1 NTID support team member
• 1 deputy dean--the committee's chair

The Chapter has offered to use its tools to provide an online anonymous discussion forum.
