New York State Pollution Prevention Institute

2013-2014 R&D Student Competition

Six undergraduate teams and five graduate teams from colleges and universities across New York State received funding and competed in the 3rd Annual R&D Student Competition “GreenovateNYS” on April 22 at the 2014 Earth Day Event & Student Competition Exhibition held at RIT.

The topic of this year’s competition was “GreenovateNYS - Make a difference on campus or in your community by developing an innovative solution to benefit the environment.”

Participating schools included: Clarkson University, Syracuse University, SUNY - University at Buffalo, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Cornell University, SUNY - Stony Brook University, St. Lawrence University, and SUNY - Cobleskill.

The winners of the competition received an award and a cash prize. Congratulations to the winners, and a big thank you to all the teams that participated!
