H1N1 information forum slated for Sept. 23

Dr. Edward Walsh, chief of infectious disease at Rochester General Hospital and a professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center, will be among the panelists at an information forum to update the RIT community about the H1N1 flu virus at 9 a.m. Wednesday in RIT’s Webb Auditorium.
Other panelists will include representatives of the RIT Student Health Center and Incident Management Team. The forum will include a review of plans RIT has in place in the event of an outbreak on campus.
In addition, RIT has created a Web site pertaining to H1N1 preparedness, advice and related information. Visit www.rit.edu/h1n1.

Healthcare Seminar Series
The Alliance is hosting a joint health care seminar series: “Innovations
in Health Care Delivery and Design.” The first seminar, in April 2009,
featured keynote speaker Stuart Altman, one of the nation’s leading experts
in health care industry reform and economics.
