New blog provides updates for RIT-RGHS Alliance
‘Inside the Alliance’ will offer internal insight for both organizations

A new blog—“Inside the Alliance”—will keep the RIT and RGHS communities abreast of the latest information between the two organizations. The blog can be found at insidethealliance.wordpress.com.
Cindee Gray, managing director of the RIT-RGHS Alliance, is the lead writer on the blog and will use it as a tool to communicate with both organizations. Among the first blog posts:
• The awarding of seed funding to seven projects between alliance collaborators. Projects range from the development of surgical simulation systems to cultivating new clinical and technological advancements in the area of early cancer detection.
• The development of an ethics certificate.
The blog is also located on the main RIT-RGHS Alliance website.

Healthcare Seminar Series
The Alliance is hosting a joint health care seminar series: “Innovations
in Health Care Delivery and Design.” The first seminar, in April 2009,
featured keynote speaker Stuart Altman, one of the nation’s leading experts
in health care industry reform and economics.
