Regional Chapters : Colorado

Welcome to the RIT Colorado Alumni Chapter!

With a laid back vibe and 300 days of blue skies, there’s so much to love about Colorado. Coloradans play as hard as they work. Here, you’ll find many tech startups in the area in addition to traditional companies. Plus, if you enjoy adventure, like skiing, biking, and camping, this is the place to be. The art and culinary scenes have also blossomed in the last decade, making the Denver Metro area a culturally rich place to live.

The RIT Colorado Alumni Chapter hosts events about once per quarter. Our most popular event is cheering on the RIT Men’s Hockey team as they face the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Past events have included summer hikes, volunteering opportunities, and meetups at local breweries.

I’d love to connect and welcome you to the chapter. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Favorite spot: The Boulder’s Farmers Market. I love visiting in the morning and checking out all the beautiful produce from around Colorado. The food court has amazing meals too.
Favorite Food/Drink: Gelato Boy - best gelato ever! Also, Mountain Sun Brewery. The vibe is so chill, waitstaff are very friendly, and the menu suits all dietary needs. In February, they release delicious stout beer collabs all month long.
Outdoor Activity: Kayaking at Union Reservoir, Longmont. Being out on the water with the mountains in the background is so peaceful.

I’m so excited you’re joining our RIT Colorado Tiger Alumni Family — my favorite chapter event is cheering on the RIT hockey team vs. Air Force. Hope to see you there!
Favorite spot: Anywhere in the mountains!
Favorite Food/Drink: Park Burger is one of my favorite local restaurants... So many delicious locally-sourced burgers. Definitely visit Nuggs in Denver for some ice cream.
Outdoor Activity: I love a good summer hike, but you can’t beat a bluebird powder ski day!

Welcome to sunny Colorado! Feel free to connect and hopefully I’ll see you out on trails!
Favorite spot: Red Rocks Amphitheater! The entire park complex is great - there’s good restaurants, hikes for all abilities, and of course, concerts in the amphitheater itself.
Favorite Food/Drink: Basic Kneads Pizza in Golden, CO has great craft beer and wood-fired pizza. They do fun activities too like yoga on the patio - a guided yoga class followed by pizza and beer? The best!
Outdoor Activity: In the summer you’ll find me on one of Colorado’s numerous hiking trails or catching a Rockies game. In the winter, I’m snowshoeing and watching outdoor pond hockey!
