This organization is the newest extracurricular activity at RIT. Pershing Rifles is a military, social, and service organization established for the purpose of promoting professionalism and leadership. Homepage

Ranger Challenge
The varsity sport of Army ROTC, our Ranger Challenge team continuously places high amongst our region's competitive schools. This past year we placed second overall. Ranger Challenge is an athletic, team–oriented activity involving test of physical fitness, technical knowledge, weapons proficiency, and also involves traversing obstacle courses and building rope bridges.

Ranger Platoon
Cadets learn valuable skills during this extra academic period, including land navigation and orienteering skills, operations order skills, and other technical knowledge. This is the academic side of the Ranger Challenge program, and extends that physical fitness training into the classroom environment. Homepage

Pistol Team
Although officially known as Pistol Team, participating cadets will have a chance to shoot and become proficient with both pistols and rifles. This team meets year round and all participating cadets will receive instruction from specific cadre.

Color Guard
The color guard team performs during ceremonies, and also participates in campus events.

Drill Team
Our cadets practice drill & ceremonies diligently, and the drill team is designed to help cadets learn and develop these technical marching skills.
