Physical Training

Cadets report to ROTC at various levels of physical readiness and ability. During the first weeks of training, the focus is on progressive training of the whole body. Cadets in ROTC perform toughening phase activities during Physical Readiness Training (PRT) sessions.

Physical Training (PT) is conducted 3 times (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) weekly from 0630 to 0730 with the exceptions being Ranger Challenge and Ranger Platoon which are conducted 5 times weekly with longer sessions.

Physical Readiness Training

You must pass the Army Physical Fitness Test IAW FM 7-22 (standards listed below) and meet the Height/Weight standards outlined in AR 600-9 to receive scholarship benefits and commission.
