CETEMS Facilities

Part of the RIT Experience

RIT offers state-of-the-art equipment and sophisticated laboratories that allow for plenty of hands-on experience. As a civil engineering technology student, you have access to laboratories in soil mechanics, environmental controls, hydraulic power systems, and mechanics.

Available computer facilities include high-speed ETHERNET system and AT&T's Information Systems Network using fiber optic cable that connects several Digital VAX super-minicomputers running VMS and ULTRIX (UNIX) operating systems. You can access these systems from time-sharing terminals across the campus and via dial-up access. CAD design facilities to support the academic programs include several work-stations and PC's.
