TPM Maintenance Manager
Location: Quakertown, PA

Position: Maintenance/TPM Manager
Key Elements of the Position:
- Safety: Promote safety as the most important value in the organization
- Leadership: Lead TPM initiatives - 5S, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, CMMS, continuous process improvement
- Plan, coordinate, support and report results for all maintenance activities within the facility
- Review all preventive maintenance procedures and revise or develop as necessary
- Identify and assign maintenance projects focused on reducing equipment downtime and operating cost
- Drive project execution and results
- Manage equipment spare parts, tools, and supply inventory
- Work with outside suppliers concerning service contracts and ordering parts
- Lead and/or provide support as needed on capital projects
- Provide direct "hands on" assistance to maintenace technicians as needed
- Assist Technical Manager in the development and support of maintenance technicians
Minimum Requirements:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, other degrees will be considered
- 3-5 years experience in plant maintenance/engineering role (required)
- Experience with a TPM program implementation or managing a TPM program (required)
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems (including AC and DC drives, mechanical drives, PLC's, and motor
controls)(required)
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects on a timely basis

Key Elements of the Position:
- Reliability background is expected
- Develops the reliability strategy for the organization and implements the changes
- Good communications skills for dealing truthfully with union workforce
- Must be able to determine the priorities for the organization
- Self-starter is a must (need to be influential without having direct reports)
- SAP literate is a plus (but will be taught)
- Maintenance leadership experience is a plus
- Lean Manufacturing (Six Sigma, Quality Mgmt, etc) experience is a plus
- Engineering background is not a requirement
- Environment: Mix of office and paper-making shop floor. Shares the organizational responsibilities within team.
