The American University in Kosovo

The American University in Kosovo will lead all universities in the economic, political, and technological advancement of Kosovo and the surrounding region. Academic programs are conducted entirely in English and focus on entrepreneurial leadership, management, public policy and information technology. Mission

  • To provide a career oriented education that fosters the links between the university, industry, and government necessary to support the workforce development needs of Kosovo.

  • To develop and maintain excellent teaching faculty and provide the technologies required to support excellent technology intensive instruction.

  • To provide learning environments that stimulate and expand the entrepreneurial spirit of our students and other stakeholders of the university.

  • To expose our students to different cultures and offer programs that develop the analytical and communication skills necessary for personal success in a global society.

  • To make technological sophistication a distinguishing strength of students graduating from AUK.

  • To expand the depth, breadth, and scope of educational programs offered at the American University in Kosovo.
