Prospective Students > Transfer Students
The Center for Multidisciplinary Studies is working to build relationships with local community college colleagues and students. To do so, each CMS advisor has been assigned to personally assist local community colleges with questions they, or their students, might have about the Applied Arts and Science degrees or RIT programs in general. Networking events are being scheduled throughout the year to keep communication active between schools and to promote the exchange of ideas and information. Community College Students

The Transfer Pass
Transferring from a two-year to a four-year college can be a huge change socially, academically, and financially. We at CMS try to make that transition as easy as possible. In an effort to do so, CMS publishes a bi-annual newsletter, The Transfer Pass, which talks about the transfer process through stories of students that have done it. The Transfer Pass also features articles on industry and academic trends via RIT faculty; RIT’s interesting hot-spots for students and faculty; post-graduation issues; and FAQ’s on what CMS and transferring in general is all about. Below are past editions of The Transfer Pass newsletter. Feel free to copy them for yourself or friends and learn what RIT and the Center for Multidisciplinary Studies can offer you. Good luck! |
