Every Gift Makes a Difference!

Where do alumni donations go? Each year the ECT Engineering Technology department chooses students who excel scholastically to receive an Alumni Book Scholarship. These students receive $300-500 credit to be used toward the purchase of textbooks or laboratory kits from the RIT Bookstore over the course of the school year. More than 265 ECT ET Alumni Scholars have benefited over the past 10 years receiving over $121,000 of alumni donations.

Thanks to the generous support from our alumni we are able to help our students continue to enhance their academic excellence, alleviate some of the financial stress and motivate them to continue to work hard.
