The Health Systems Administration (HSA) program at RIT meets the needs of health care professionals looking to advance their career. Four concentrations are offered within the Master of Science (MS) program to allow professionals to focus upon specialties within health care. Each concentration can be taken as “stand alone” courses which provide a Certificate to the student upon completion. These courses can also be applied toward a Masters of Science degree within a seven year time period. Working professionals also use the Certificates to update skills or change career paths. The added benefit to the working professionals is all of the courses are taught on line. The Certificates are referred to as advanced as they are offered on a graduate level and are as follows:
