The Executive Leader program offered by Rochester Institute of Technology provided a growth experience that was totally unexpected and beyond my expectations. I had expected to travel to RIT, meet other professionals, accomplish the learning assignments, take the tests and complete the program. What actually occurred was a true growth experience that transcended the traditional learning experience.
The experience allowed me to look inside myself, celebrate my strengths, identify my weaknesses and come face to face with these realities. I was also grouped with the most incredible individuals who shared themselves during the process. This sharing is not limited only to what would be traditionally thought of as the "students", but included every member of the RIT system. I fully support the experience of the Executive Leader program and hope you select this process that is sure to change your life.

The EL experience is a wonderful and rewarding effort. The individual growth and personal skills development is only exceeded by the team dynamic of your peers. It is through your fellow EL members and the committed diverse faculty that you have the opportunity to learn beyond linear concepts. Regardless if you have been in industry for only few years, or many as myself, the out come of the effort with EL is a life changing experience to be shared with any organization

RIT's Executive Masters Degree in Service Management provided me with the extra value added resources to compete with confidence in an ever-changing complex global economy. The institute is highly regarded with its leadership and "cutting edge" instructional model. The investment, which I made with other colleagues over a decade ago, is still reaping rewarding dividends with my professional and personal growth. The strategic focus, which I learned from the program, has provided me with a remarkable range to adapt and succeed. The courses surely will assist you with embracing passion for an exciting future in service management.

The Service management courses at RIT are very different from other universities. Service Management teaches students to think about the future and to be alert at all times. Of course, high commitment is a must. The professors at RIT teach differently. I have done many presentations since I came to RIT; I had to adjust my personal style a lot to be a part of the Service Management classroom. The entire RIT facility is great. I love that there is a gym with sauna room and numerous computers for students to use.

I was born in Lebanon in 1978. I speak Arabic, French and English. I have a B.S in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut. I had some experience in the nutrition while in France and then I worked in two Diet Centers in Lebanon. I have traveled to the United Sates, Canada and some European countries. For the time being, I'm happy to be in the States and proud of being in the Hospitality-Service Management program.
As an International student, the whole experience of leaving my family and living abroad on my own was a very enriching experience. I have learned to understand and respect different cultures and appreciate diversity. I was the youngest International student in the class, and I noticed that the older students had much more experience than I did. I have considered this to be a positive feature, and have benefited from their interventions during class discussions. The Graduate Program as a whole was great. It is constantly in a transition phase, where new courses are being created and new approaches to course materials were being implemented. We all shared the excitement and challenge of change with the Chair of the Program. We contributed as a team to evaluating and thus improving the program.
I enjoyed all the classes, they helped me to broaden my perspective and look differently at organizations. We learned how to have a holistic approach to problem solving and how to work as a team to accomplish different tasks. We understand how innovation can help a company respond to change and how achieving sustainability is the key to long-term growth and success. Mainly, all the concepts that we have embraced enabled us to view today's market differently; as a system of reinforcing loops balanced by limiting processes that have to be challenged in order for the organization to move forward.
This is a small summary of a whole bunch of ideas that we have been exchanging for nine months in a wonderful roundtable environment where we all shared our knowledge and experiences, in order for us to learn and grow.
