The business of running health care requires a leader who has multiple strategic skills. The manager is required to forecast into the future, develop a strategic plan to capture this vision, align service resources to carry out the vision and market this unique service to stakeholders. In addition management considers strategic alliances and/or mergers to further the mission and vision of their organization. Each professional is expected to be innovative, resourceful and ethical in their interactions. The Health System Administration program at RIT has developed this leadership concentration to develop strategic skills.
