RIT Hospitality Association

The RIT Hospitality Association promotes student travel and networking opportunities with industry leaders and RIT alumni. The Association works to bring our hospitality knowledge and experience to the department and campus. Students collaboratively host and plan fundraisers to raise awareness for the Association and other charitable causes.

ETA Sigma Delta Honor Society

Eta Sigma Delta, The International Hospitality Management Honor Society, is administrated by the International CHRIE (Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education). As an international honor society Eta Sigma Delta recognizes the scholastic and professional achievements of students and alumni from institutions granting diplomas, associate and baccalaureate degrees, graduate degrees, or their equivalents, in the field of hospitality, tourism, and culinary arts. There are five Points of Honor of Eta Sigma Delta and they are: Excellence, Leadership, Creativity, Service, and Ethics.

Individual members pledge to uphold these values in their professional lives. The professional benefits of Eta Sigma Delta include an opportunity for outstanding students to distinguish themselves in the eyes of educators, recruiters and industry executives in an increasingly competitive industry.
