"I value the faculty and staff in the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department above anything else in my program at RIT. Most hospitality students have a faculty or staff member who has taken the time to mentor and encourage them throughout their career at RIT. It honestly makes all the difference for students in our department. Additionally, I enjoyed a wonderful co-op experience working at Steamboat Landing in Canandaigua, NY where I learned directly from the staff, general manager, chef and owner. I gained invaluable insight into the restaurant business and operations through the various perspectives from the people I worked with and for."
