Baja SAE Rochester World Challenge 2013
Rochester Institute of Technology welcomes the top engineering and engineering technology students in the world as they prepare to test their skills in the biggest collegiate baja competition of the year.
Colleges and universities from around the world will build an all-terrain vehicle capable of holding up under the most adverse conditions.
We look forward to seeing college students at their best—applying the knowledge they've learned inside the classroom.
As part of the Baja SAE Challenge, RIT is challenging ALL TEAMS to make a food donation as part of your “entry” to the RIT 2013 Baja Challenge. We are suggesting one non-perishable food item to be donated on behalf of EACH TEAM MEMBER. There will be a collection site at the entrance to the Gordon Field House on Friday, June 7th. All food donations will be given to the local food pantry.

Directions to the RIT campus:
1 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester, NY 14623
From the Rochester airport: Turn right onto Brooks Avenue, then a quick right onto I-390 South. From 390, take the next exit (Scottsville Road) and turn right at the end of the ramp. Drive approximately 3 miles and then turn left onto Jefferson Road (Route 252). RIT's campus will
be on the right.
From the NYS Thruway: Take exit 46 and go north on I-390 to exit 13 (Hylan Drive). Turn left onto Hylan Drive and continue north to Jefferson Road (Route 252). Turn left onto Jefferson Road. Go west a short distance and the entrance to RIT's campus will be on the left.
Directions to Hogback Hill Motorcross Track:
From the RIT campus: Head east on Jefferson Road (Route 252). Turn left onto NY-96/South Main Street. Turn right onto NY-31/State Street. Turn left (north) onto Galloway Road. Take Galloway Road to the end and then turn right onto Hogback Hill Road. The motocross track will be about 1/2 mile down the road on the left. It will take about 45 minutes to get to the track from RIT's campus.
