The CAST Scholarship committee continued as the representative body in 2007-8, receiving its charge from the interim dean in the fall quarter. The mission of the committee is to be a champion for scholarship for CAST, making decisions regarding scholarship related policies, carrying out the initiatives from the FASA, and being the review body for scholarship related awards and grants. The committee has representation from all of the departments in CAST. The scholarship committee members for 2007-8 were:

* The FASA position was established in the 2003-4 academic year by CAST's dean, recognizing the need for a champion to help shepherd and focus the faculty's scholarship efforts.
