As a transfer student, entering RIT in my junior year as a commuter student, I thought it would be hard to meet new people. Through attending the
RIT's Women in Technology program is dedicated to increasing the representation of women in the technical fields and programs offered in the College of Applied Science and Technology’s School of Engineering Technology.
- Develop an interest in pursuing a degree or career in an engineering technology, technical or scientific career (especially those represented in CAST).
- Increase the number of women applicants to the School of Engineering Technology in the College of Applied Science and Technology at RIT.
- Build a sense of community within the college and within the professional community of these fields of study in CAST.
- Enhance confidence in the academic and professional skills required for a successful and rewarding technical career.
