Our majors encourage problem-based, hands-on learning involving critical thinking, multidisciplinary teamwork, and active interaction among students, faculty, and staff. Our strong ties to industry have enabled us to shape our majors to best meet the evolving needs of the fields that employ our graduates . Our students are prepared today for tomorrow’s challenges.

Orlando Ortiz took over as the RIT Alumni Association president in January, an association with which he has been a member of for 10 years. He is also active with RIT’s Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity Inc. and is a mentor with RIT’s Men of Color, Honor, and Ambition (MOCHA) program.
