The Big Shot
2007 Dubrovnik Croatia
photographs by:
Staffan Larsson
In September 2005, President Don Hudspeth of the
American College of Management and Technology - a sister college
of RIT- invited the Big Shot Project to Dubrovnik. We were lucky
to have 12 RIT photography students studying at ACMT while the project
while taking place. They contibuted much to our success by taking
on several roles under the supervision of Professor Willie Osterman.
The Big Shot is a very complex photograph made after dark with many
collaborators. It takes considerable planning and anaylsis of the
subject to handle the myriad of details required to make good light
and an interesting photograph. The
images shared below are from the trip. They were made by Staffan
Larsson who was responsible for the 2003 Stockholm project. The
pictures begin April 8 when we visited on day one and conclude with
2:00am the evening April 13th.
