Professional Shadowing Program


The primary purpose of the COLA Professional Shadowing Program is to provide students unpaid and short-term opportunities to experience a profession first-hand by partnering a student with a working professional for a 1-5 day immersion into that professional’s daily work activities.

The Shadowing Program Committee will review your application packet. Students will then be selected to interview with the committee, who will ultimately determine if the student is a good match for the program and match the student with a host. Logistics, such as transportation, dates of shadowing, and so on, will be determined once a student is selected to continue.
How to get started - Employers
Please email the Professional Expression of Interest to The Shadowing Program Committee will then review the opportunity. If approved, a shadowing opportunity will be contingent on finding an appropriate student match to the particular opportunity the organization presents. You may register more than one opportunity, but please fill out a separate application if doing so.
