Students win the “Launch a New Business Pitch Process” with Jines Restaurant
As part of the Fall 2017 Principles of Advertising course, student teams were required to launch a new business pitch process with a real company in Rochester, NY. Peter Gines represented the business he owns, Jines Restaurant (established 1971) at 658 Park Ave, Rochester, NY.
During the first part of the assignment, student teams represented advertising agencies and reviewed a brief for the restaurant with Peter Gines. He outlined specific real life challenges he wanted the team to help him with by presenting their unique marketing ideas.
In the second stage, the student agencies formally presented their marketing ideas to the client, in competition with other teams in the class.
The winning proposal chosen by Peter Gines for Jines Restaurant was created by “Hype Siren,” a collaborative effort between students Margaret Silva, Isabel Thelen, Isabella Sturm, and Zach Thesier (left to right in the photo).
