Kern Lecture to Explore Consumer Relationships with “Twilight” Media Brand

On Thursday, October 17, Professor Margo Buchanan-Oliver, University of Auckland, New Zealand, will deliver a Kern Lecture:  “Brand pathologies: ‘Monstrous’ consumer relationships and the media brand Twilight.”  Dr. Buchanan-Oliver, Professor of Marketing and a Director of the Centre of Digital Enterprise (CODE) at The University of Auckland Business School, will speak on this “world-wide consumption phenomenon which predominantly speaks to female consumers who enter into fantastic and corporeal relationships with its market manifestations (books, films, merchandising, consumption communities).”  Her lecture takes place on the 17th at 6 pm in Eastman 3287.
